The Spoon is modelled as the early caddy spoons were, with a raying shell bowl, which copied the large shells which were used to measure out the tea from the large wooden chests, which tea was imported into England in.  The handle has incuse sides and is decorated with unusual linear and punch bead bands.  The Spoon is in quite excellent condition and is very well marked on the back of the handle with the maker's mark and sterling mark.

Length: 2,25 inches, 5.63 cm.

Width of the bowl: 1.5 inches, 3.75 cm.
