This very rare Georgian Caddy Spoon is modelled as a stylised frying pan. The circular bowl displays plain, stepped, sides and the centre is decorated with a raying floral rosette. The tapering handle is decorated with a foliate design, on a linear ground, and has a plain trefoil device above. This is the first time we have seen this specific design and the reverse is very well marked with the maker's mark of Samuel Pemberton
Length: 2.45 inches, 6.13 cm.
Diameter of the bowl: 1.3 inches, 3.25 cm.
