Harvey and Woodd - a landmark on the Edinburgh arts scene is opening a second gallery in Dorset. 

Art world husband-and-wife team, James and Flora Harvey, are thrilled to bring their expertise and broad artistic interests to a new  space in C19th Barns that will enable an expanded program of exhibitions  and events the gallery promises to be home to a diverse and constantly evolving selection of the finest traditional and contemporary art; over five hundred oils, watercolours, prints and sculptures with a starting price point of £500. 

Having previously run galleries in New York, London and Edinburgh, James has over thirty years of experience in the art world, specialising in 19th Century British Art as well as contemporary art in the traditional style. With a state-of-the-art online presence and an exciting programme of forthcoming exhibitions, the gallery will continue this focus and combine it with the broad selection of Scottish paintings for which it earned its renown.

James says: “Our new space in the beautiful Dorset countryside offers clients a relaxed environment in which to see our regular exhibitions and permanent hang of paintings watercolours and sculpture from C19th to present day.  We believe the Edinburgh and Dorset exhibition spaces will complement each other giving us a broad reach both north and south of the border. ‘
