Unique piece, this large reception desk comes from the Kyoto International Conference Center, designed by Sachio Otani and inaugurated in 1966.
The center's furnishings were curated by Isamu Kenmochi and his studio, the Isamu Kenmochi Design Laboratory, in collaboration with renowned Japanese manufacturers such as Tendo Mokko and Yamakawa Rattan.
This desk features a wooden base covered in grey leather with a sleek stainless steel plinth, topped with a rosewood tray that boasts clean, crisp lines. A perfect blend of function and design, reflecting the modernist spirit of the project.
