The Label has a curved banner, with foliate motifs at each end. The face is engraved with the title GIN, surrounded by prick dot and bright cut frames, all surmounted by the Prince of Wales feathers. This was a Bateman design produced in the Bun Hill Row workshops. Gin labels do not appear in great numbers from the 18th century. This piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked.
Length: 2 inches, 5cm.
