The Mustard Pots are modelled in a shallow "Drum" form with spreading foot and everted gadrooned rim. Each has a reeded harp shaped handle and plain oval thumb piece.  The top of the covers are engraved with a contemporary Crest and the interiors are gilded, in addition to having a blue glass liner.  The Pots are in excellent condition and are fully marked on the side of the main body and with the sterling mark and date letter on the underside of the cover.  To find a pair of Mustard Pots from the Georgian period is most unusual.
