  • Verner Panton

Original version of the Panthella floor lamp created by Verner Panton and produced by Louis Poulsen in the 70s. First version of the model with the switch on the base and all the original elements.

The organic shape is characteristic of Verner's Panton design. Both the tulip-shaped base and the shade were thought to act as light reflectors, thus allowing a soft light.

The base is in cream abs plastic accommodating a white lacquered metal rod and hemispherical shade in translucent white Perspex.

Manufacturer: Poulsen, circa 1970.
